NOW AVAILABLE IN NEW SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING!
The SenSafe® Total Chlorine test strip is an Aperture Strip designed around patented technology to meet USEPA guidelines for screening all drinking water sources. The water quality test reports accurate results from 0.02 – 10.0 ppm (mg/L). US Patented SenSafe® Total Chlorine makes on-site and field testing quicker and easier than current industry methods. Since there are no powders or tablets to mix, no technical training required, no hazardous chemicals used, and test results are available in less than 1 minute, the SenSafe® Total Chlorine test strip is guaranteed to revolutionize water quality testing.
For best results, run test immediately after collecting a fresh water sample. Total Chlorine is the combination of both Free (available) Chlorine and reacted Chlorine, or Chloramines. Chloramines are formed when Free Chlorine reacts with organic compounds or Ammonia. Chloramines are less effective at disinfection than Free Chlorine and may cause eye and skin irritation in addition to a strong chlorine smell.
