Last week Congress sent the President a new piece of legislation that reduces exposures to lead in drinking water. As reported in the Washington Post, it would set federal standards for levels of lead allowed in plumbing fixtures that carry drinking water. It limits the amount of lead that can leach from plumbing into drinking water. We’ve been educating consumers on the dangers of even traces of Lead in drinking water for years and applaud Congress for taking action.
